The Martin Fellows program is more than a group of individuals – it is a community.  Fellows come together at events throughout the year to learn about each other’s research and build relationships across disciplinary boundaries.  Each year, faculty and alumni welcome new Fellows into the Society at an elegant induction dinner.  An annual off-campus retreat to a nearby New England ecosystem – salt marshes on Thompson Island, long-term ecological research in Harvard Forest, Audubon sanctuaries on the North Shore — is a major highlight.  Occasional lectures and informal events sustain the network.

Once a Martin Fellow, always a Martin Fellow.
