Laurentiu Anton is a Ph.D. candidate in EECS at MIT researching grid resilience and decarbonization. He brings broad academic and industry experience, having worked with planners, operators, and developers across various jurisdictions globally. He co-led the MIT Energy & Climate Club and remains an advocate for climate action on campus.
His research develops data-driven models that integrate operational insights and multi-layered datasets into medium- and long-term grid planning, enabling the informed deployment of distributed energy resources to support reliable, equitable, and low-carbon power systems.
